RailwayBlogger is a blog dedicated to all things railway following my love for heritage railway, today’s railways and model railways. Expertly written from a position of experience and knowledge. Barrie has been employed in the railway industry for over 40 years after qualifying as a railway electrical engineer. In addition he has extensive heritage railway experience over a similar period of time and is currently the Chief Mechanical Engineer at a Heritage Railway. When not occupied with full scale trains, Barrie enjoys railway modelling. Barrie’s extensive contacts within the railway industry often give him exclusive access to project and sites and enable him to write sought after reports with photos.
